Here’s a quick look at how some of the notable Halifax Mooseheads’ drafted prospects and affiliate players are faring this season in their respective leagues. Players with (*) beside their names are the current designated affiliates.
2019 5th round pick Keegan Hunt is currently serving a two-game suspension for fighting and has also suited up for one game this season with the Grand Falls Rapids in the Maritime Hockey League. 16-year-old forward Olivier Tourchot is off to a strong start with the Saint-Eustache Vikings and is 13th in QMAAA scoring with 13 points. The Moose grabbed him in the 10th round of the QMJHL Entry Draft in June. Another 16-year-old, William Robitaille has also had a good start to his season with Levis where he has scored nine points in 10 games. Locally, free agent affiliate Landon Miron has been hot in the Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League with Cole Harbour and is near the top of the scoring race with 23 points in 12 games.
