Moose to host Moncton Wednesday at 7pm

Your Halifax Mooseheads have entered the final week of action prior to the Christmas break in the QMJHL. Fans can catch the Herd in action on home ice at Scotiabank Centre Wednesday night against the rival Moncton Wildcats at 7pm.
This is the first meeting between the teams since a miraculous Moncton comeback at the Avenir Centre on November 27th that saw the Cats rally from a 4-0 deficit to defeat the Mooseheads 5-4 in regulation. Halifax will be looking to prove themselves against the division rivals who have taken two-of-three games from the Herd this season. The Mooseheads continue to lead the Maritimes Division with a 19-7-2-1 record, placing them 11 points ahead of the second place Wildcats.
Captain Attilio Biasca and defenceman David Moravec will be missing from the Halifax lineup after both players departed to take part in World Junior camps with their respective countries of Switzerland and Czechia. Mooseheads’ leading scorer Jordan Dumais is back with the team after being among the last cuts at Canada’s World Junior selection camp. He has not played since a road game on November 30th versus Rimouski.
The Mooseheads will close out the 2022 home portion of the schedule on Friday at 7pm against the Charlottetown Islanders. Tickets for both games are on sale now at TicketAtlantic.com.
