Two Screaming Eagles Defenseman taken in NHL Draft.
Pittsburgh – The New York Islanders selected second year Screaming Eagle Loic Leduc in today’s NHL Entry Draft. The 6’06” 190 lb. defenseman was selected 103rd overall in the 4th round of the draft. In 101 regular season games, Leduc has registered 3 goals and 11 assists for 14 points along with 126 penalty minutes.
In the 7th round of the draft, the Phoenix Coyotes selected newly acquired defenseman Justin Hache. Hache was dealt to the Screaming Eagles at this year’s 2012 QMJHL Entry Draft. In two seasons with the Cataractes, Hache registered 5 goals 28 assists and a +/- rating of +36 in 97 regular season games.
