Screaming Eagles Acquire 20 Year Old Defencemen Beaudry
Sydney – The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles announced today that they have acquired 20-year-old defencemen Jeremy Beaudry from the Quebec Remparts in exchange for a third round pick in 2014.
The 5’11”, 192 lb native of Montmagny, QC played the first half of last season with the Sherbrooke Phoenix before being traded to the Quebec Remparts during the mid-season trading period. In total, he had 18 goals, 13 assists and 26 penalty minutes in 56 games last season.
With the addition of Beaudry, the Screaming Eagles now have four 20-year-old players on their roster including forward Michael Clarke, goaltender Maxime Lagace, and defenceman Stephen Woodworth.
