Screaming Eagles Announce STH Trip Winner
Sydney – The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles are happy to announce today that Ruth Brann from Donkin, NS is the winner of our season ticket holder draw and has won a round trip for two to attend the 2017 IIHF World Junior Champions in Montreal, Quebec, this coming January.
The trip includes a pair of tickets to four games at the Bell Centre including both semifinal games, the bronze medal game, and the gold medal game, along with return airfare departing from Sydney, three nights accommodation in downtown Montreal, two team Canada jerseys, and $500 spending money. All fans that placed a deposit on their 2016-17 Screaming Eagles season tickets by June 30th, 2016, were automatically entered into the random draw. Each season ticket holder had their customer number entered into the draw for each seat purchased in their name. The draw took place July 5th, 2016, after all season ticket orders were processed.
The 2017 World Junior Hockey Championship tournament is set to begin on Boxing Day at the Bell Centre in Montreal, QC and the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, ON. Team Canada will open the tournament against Team Russia in Toronto on Monday, December 26th at 9 p.m. AST.
