Silvertips Slip Past T-Birds
Mount scores in 3-1 loss to Everett
EVERETT, April 2, 2021 — The Everett Silvertips defeated the Seattle Thunderbirds 3-1 Friday evening at the Angel of the Winds Arena.
The T-Birds travel to Spokane to play the Chiefs on Sunday at 5:10pm. This game will be broadcast on JOEtv Channel 22/Cable 10.
Seattle (4-3-0-0) took a 1-0 lead on a power-play goal at 6:27 of the first period. Conner Roulette had the puck on the left boards and sent it low to Henrik Rybinski. Payton Mount pinched down from the right point and Rybinski found him with a cross-ice pass. Mount beat Everett goalie Dustin Wolf over the left shoulder for his second goal of the season.

With the assists, Roulette extends his point streak to five games and Rybinski extends his point streak to four games.
Everett (6-1-0-0) tied the game 1-1 at 8:11 of the second period on a power-play goal by Gianni Fairbrother.
The Silvertips took a 2-1 lead on a goal by Jacob Wright 49 seconds into the third period.
Seattle pulled goalie Thomas Milic for an extra attacker with 2:22 left in the game. They pressured the Silvertips but Cole Fonstad was able to hit the empty net with 1:19 left in the game. Milic went to the bench a second time for an extra attacker but the T-Birds were not able to find the back of the net.
Milic finished the game with 27 saves and Wolf had 19 saves.
