LAST GAME (EVT 2 – SEA 1 / 2-24-18): Connor Dewar and Garrett Pilon scored in the second and third period in another intense battle to the finish, and the Everett Silvertips edged the Seattle Thunderbirds in a 2-1 victory before 5,452 fans at accesso ShoWare Center on Saturday night in WHL action. Dewar logged a multi point night for the Silvertips and has six goals in eight games against the Thunderbirds, while Pilon’s goal, a highlight reel dangle move in the third period, broke a 1-1 tie. Carter Hart turned in a 23 save effort and the Tips earned their second straight victory in Kent, also extending their streak to points picked up in 11 straight games (9-0-1-1).
