LAST GAME (EVT 3 – KAM 1 / 10-27-17): Connor Dewar scored twice and Dustin Wolf recorded 38 saves and an assist in his WHL debut to lift the Everett Silvertips to a 3-1 victory over the Kamloops Blazers on Friday, before 3,275 fans at Sandman Centre in WHL action. Wolf stopped 15 shots in the opening period and was supported by Connor Dewar’s power play goal, lifting the Silvertips to a 1-0 edge. Dewar scored again in the second period and Bryce Kindopp followed up with an even strength goal, boosting the Tips streak to 8-0-1-0 in the last nine visits to Kamloops.

- STEADY AS SHE GOES: The Silvertips are the only team in the last 14 WHL seasons to reach the playoffs every season … they have captured five U.S. Division titles, most recently last season when they went 44-16-9-3.
- DEWAR OF GOOD DEEDS: Connor Dewar (development camp, Toronto Maple Leafs and draft eligible) entered Saturday tied for second in the league in shots (70), tied for second in power play goals (6) and leads the Tips with nine goals this season … he has back-to-back multi-goal games.
- DAY BY DAVIS: Kamloops native Kevin Davis logged two assists again, last Sunday, to extend his scoring streak to 11 consecutive games … he has points in 11 of the last 12 games … his 16 points in 14 games are fourth among WHL blueliners.
- WOLF IT DOWN: Dustin Wolf made his WHL debut on Friday night at Kamloops, helping secure a 3-1 Tips win with 38 saves … he became the youngest goaltender in Tips history (16 years, 6 months, 11 days) to earn a win since Carter Hart (16 years, 1 month, 7 days) in 2014-15, when he stopped 26 shots in a 2-0 win at Seattle.
- BIG BANG BAJKOV: Patrick Bajkov, returning from training camp with the Vegas Golden Knights, leads the Tips with 21 points in 15 games … he had an assist on Friday at Kamloops … his 10 power play points lead the Silvertips this season.
