EVERETT, Wash. – The Everett Silvertips (@WHLSilvertips), seven-time U.S. Division champion and two-time Western Conference champion of the Western Hockey League will be hosting two games this weekend at Angel of the Winds Arena in downtown Everett. Friday at 7:35 p.m. against the Prince George Cougars and Saturday, 7:05 p.m. against the Vancouver Giants.

The Everett Silvertips are excited to invite fans to another Friday Hockey Happy Hour Presented by Broad Stroke Associates. Fans who purchase a ticket and drink combo will receive admission to Fridays home game against the Prince George Cougars and a drink voucher (draft beer, 6oz house wine, 20oz. fountain drink or bottled water). Tickets start as low as $22 and can add up to a potential savings of $15 per ticket. This promotion is only available online and can be picked up at the box-office prior to the game. The Silvertips have partnered with Talk Today and Volunteers of America Western Washington to bring Mental Health Awareness to Friday’s game against Prince George. The Talk Today program launched across the Western Hockey League in 2016. Talk Today provides an important opportunity to address the mental health needs of players. Through this program, over 800 WHL players and over 100 coaches, billets and staff have received mental health and suicide prevention training across the league. Fans who attend Friday’s game can visit the Volunteers of America Western Washington-run kiosk on the concourse where they can learn more about mental health and the organization’s community-based services. Fans can also write on mental health signs, which will be shown in unison at a designated stoppage in play.
