Pink The Rink Returns Oct. 15 at XFINITY Arena
EVERETT, Wash. – The Everett Silvertips (@WHLSilvertips), in conjunction with partners at Providence Regional Medical Center and the Safeway Foundation, are proud to present the eighth annual “Pink The Rink” game on Saturday, October 15th against the Seattle Thunderbirds, starting at 7:05PM (Fox Sports 1380/WHL Live) at XFINITY Arena.
Proceeds will benefit Providence General Foundation, in support of breast health activities and free mammograms for women in Snohomish County facing financial challenges. Over the last seven seasons the Silvertips have helped raise over $500,000 from the Pink The Rink event, providing approximately 5,000 free mammograms for women in Snohomish County. There will be several opportunities for fans in attendance to make a contribution at this season’s event.
Among the activities scheduled for Pink The Pink:
- Silvertips fans are encouraged to wear pink to support the event’s awareness goals.
- The Silvertips will wear an exclusive specialty jersey for the game, presenting a white base, pink and green stripes on the sleeves, an alternate bear logo, and a pink with green outlined paw on the shoulder.
- Game worn jerseys will be available for purchase via auction or a “Buy It Now” option during the game. Each winning bidder receives a photo opportunity with their respective Silvertips player immediately following the game.

- The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive Pink The Rink light-up bracelets, courtesy of Providence Comprehensive Breast Center and the Safeway Foundation.
- Limited edition, autographed Pink The Rink pucks to commemorate the event are on sale at XFINITY Arena each game night through Saturday, and online here. Autographed pucks are available for $20 offering each buyer an autograph choice of their favorite current Silvertips player. For each autographed puck purchase, $15 will be donated to the Providence Comprehensive Breast Center.
