Julius Miettinen named to 2024 CHL Top Prospects Game
EVERETT, Wash. — Everett Silvertips forward Julius Miettinen is one of 40 players named to the 2024 Kubota CHL Top Prospects Game to be played at the Avenir Centre in Moncton, New Brunswick, on Wednesday, Jan. 24.
Miettinen, an ’06-born center from Helsinki, Finland, currently ranks fifth on the team in total scoring with 27 points in 36 games played. Eight of his 12 goals on the season have been scored on the powerplay, a mark that leads the team. He also has registered six of his 15 assists while on the man advantage.

Miettinen was assigned a ‘C’ rating from the NHL Central Scouting Service prior to the start of the season, projecting him as a 4th-6th round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft.

Selected by the NHL’s 32 clubs, the 40 chosen players from across the Western Hockey League (WHL), Ontario Hockey League (OHL), and Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) will compete before hundreds of NHL scouts and thousands of fans in Moncton in an effort to improve their draft stock ahead of the 2024 NHL Draft which is scheduled for next June.
