Christmas House Holiday Drive Underway
The Everett Silvertips have announced plans for this year’s Holiday Drive to collect toys and monetary donations to benefit Christmas
House. This year’s drive begins at Saturday’s game against the Saskatoon Blades and continues during all home games through our Sunday, December 15th contest against the Spokane Chiefs.
Christmas House and Les Schwab Tire Centers representatives will be tending to the main doors to Comcast Arena at each of those four home games, collecting new toys, stuffed animals and monetary donations. Every Silvertips fan who donates a toy or cash contribution of at least $5.00 will be entered into a drawing for the chance to win a variety of prizes, including autographed paraphernalia and in-game experiences.
Snohomish County Les Schwab Tire Centers will also serve as a donation location for fans who can’t attend a game or forget to bring an item with them.
This year’s drawings include:
• Silvertips Suite (game TBD, 12 tickets, 6 parking passes)
• Autographed, game-used hockey sticks by Matt Fonteyne and Brayden Low
• 2012-13 and 2013-14 Bobblehead Doll Sets
• 10th Anniversary Banner signed by the 2012-13 team
• Uncut Autographed Silvertip Trading Card Sets from 2011-12 and 2012-13
• A Ride in the Silvertips’ Fred Meyer FANBONI (up to 8 guests)
• The chance to watch a pre-game skate from the bench
• Team Signed Silvertips jersey
• Silvertips Gift Basket
Christmas House and Les Schwab Tire Centers representatives will be collecting donated items at the following Silvertips home games: Saturday, November 30 vs. Saskatoon Blades; Tuesday, December 3 vs. Portland Winterhawks; Saturday, December 14 vs. Vancouver Giants and Sunday, December 15 vs. Spokane Chiefs.
Prize drawings will be held during the second intermission on Sunday, December 15th. Fans are not required to be present to win. No donation is necessary to enter drawing. Please limit entries to one entry per person per game. More information can be found at both the Christmas House table and the BECU Guest Services Table on the concourse.
Christmas House is a 501 ©(3) non-profit organization that has served the Snohomish County community since 1981. Their goal is to provide children from low income families with new toys, gifts and clothing during the holidays. Last year, the all-volunteer staff helped over 3,300 Snohomish County families, including 9,500 infants, youths and teens receive clothing, blankets, toys and personal items during the holiday season.
