LET’S COME TOGETHER FOR OUR LOVED ONES ON FEBRUARY 2nd
Friday (Feb 2) we show up for those impacted by Cancer and gather to support the great work of the Canadian Cancer Society’s Vancouver Island Lodge.
ABOUT THE GAME NIGHT
The Royals will hit the ice in their very first Hockey Fights Cancer Jersey which will be up for auction online, with all proceeds going to the Canadian Cancer Society’s Vancouver Island Lodge. In the concourse we will have activities for families to show their support for their Loved ones. Local artist Jaimey Hamilton will be playing at our Gate 1 Fanzone pre-game and during the intermissions as well as in the bowl we will have our resident DJ, Pauly, spinning tunes all night long. The 50/50 support from the night will go directly to support the vital work of the Vancouver Island Lodge as will the Jersey Auction proceeds.
Our concessions will have Pink Cotton Candy for sale to satisfy sweet tooths and we will have a PINK inspired Menu at the Lion’s Den pre-game! (Reservations recommended – See Menu Here)
WHAT IS THE CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY’S VANCOUVER ISLAND LODGE?
Vancouver Island Lodge offers a space for individuals battling cancer and their caregivers. Located near the Royal Jubilee Hospital. With 20 rooms totaling 38 beds, including two wheelchair-accessible rooms, the facility offers shared accommodations at a subsidized rate. The lodge extends vital services, including meals, a shuttle program to the BC Cancer Agency, wig and breast prosthesis services, the “Look Good Feel Better” program, and various wellness and supportive care initiatives. Guests can connect with others through the Lodge Group on cancer connection, fostering a supportive community.
