Cole Reschny Named WHL Rookie of The Month
Victoria, BC – The Western Hockey League announced today that Cole Reschny has been named the WHL Rookie of the Month for November. Reschny, 16, recorded 12 points (7 goals and 5 assists) in eight games for the Royals in November.
Reschny recorded a 14-game point streak through November, the streak began on October 9th and extended until November 25th. During the streak, Reschny amassed 6 goals and 15 assists, for 21 points in 14 games. Reschny went on to record his first career WHL Hat-trick on November 28th against the Kamloops Blazers.
Reschny currently sits third in league scoring among rookies, with 26 points in 22 games. The product of Macklin, SK’s success extends to his participation in the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge earlier this month in Charlottetown and Summerside, PEI, where he tied for sixth in tournament scoring with 3 goals and 5 assists for 8 points.
