r Rockets welcome families to open skate as part of busy weekend
r
r The Kelowna Rockets are hosting a Family Skate this Sunday as part of a busy weekend where they play twice before capping it off by skating with fans.
r
r The Tim Horton’s Family Skate with the entire Rockets team takes place Sunday, November 8 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at Prospera Place. Admission is a non perishable food item for the Kelowna Food Bank.

r Meanwhile the Rockets are coming off a 5-4 shootout win over Prince George and getting set for two more inter-divisonal games this weekend. Kelowna beat Chilliwack 3-0 Friday night and will be traveling to Kamloops for a game on Saturday.
r
r The Rockets are 10-7-1-0 so far this season and enter the weekend in second place in the WHL BC division.
r
r The Rockets would also like to remind the public about a special 2 p.m. game in honour of Remembrance Day on Nov. 11 against Red Deer.
