Rockets win in OT; Take 2 in PG
The Kelowna Rockets scored early in overtime to defeat the Prince George Cougars 2-1 on Saturday night in Prince George, sweeping two games in Prince George this weekend.
Evan Bloodoff scored the winner after a Tyson Barrie shot as the Rockets won its second straight and climbed to one game over .500 at 12-11.
Andreas Stene opened the scoring with his first career WHL goal :15 seconds into the game.
Bretty Connolly tied it for Prince George later in the period.
Adam Brown earned the win in net for Kelowna as he stopped 39 shots.

The Rockets claimed four points on the road in the weekend series after Friday night’s win.
“This was a huge weekend for us and i thought our guys responded well,” said assistant coach Ryan Cuthbert on the AM 1150 post game show. “There there were a lot of good things that happened this weekend.”
Kelowna returns home to play Regina on Wednesday.
