Rockets Prep for Home and Home with Blazers
After kicking off the WHL exhibition season with a 3-2 win over Prince George on the weekend, the Kelowna Rockets are in the midst of preparing for its next exhibition tests this coming weekend.
The Rockets will play a home and home series with Kamloops this weekend, playing in Kamloops on Friday night before the two teams head back to Kelowna for the rematch on Saturday.
Head coach Brad Ralph says he was pleased with the effort on Saturday and liked the fact the team could have a full week of practice before its next games.
“You could tell PG had played a game…they had their timing,” said Ralph. “There are a lot of things we’ve gone over that are difficult to implement for your first exhibition game. We will show some video this week. That’s why there is a three to four week procress in the exhibition…to fine tune those things so we are ready.”
