- Tonight’s Preview: The Kelowna Rockets will wrap up their four-game road trip tonight in Prince George. The Rockets and Cougars are meeting for the 8th time this season. The Rockets are 6-1-0-0 in the opening six games, having out-scored their BC Division cousins 24-15. The Cougars make one more appearance at Prospera Place March 18th. The Rockets defeated the Cougars last night in overtime, Kelowna had goals from Kaedan Korczak, Matthew Wedman, Pavel Novak and Dillon Hamaliuk x 2 including the game-winner.

- Mally the Man! Kris Mallette was named the interim head coach of the Kelowna Rockets on Wednesday. Mallette replaces Adam Foote, who was relieved of his duties. Mallette joined the organization as an assistant coach for the start of the 2014 season under then-head coach Dan Lambert. Mallette is a former player, suiting up for the Rockets from 1996 until 1998 before eventually being traded to the Moose Jaw Warriors. The 41-year-old is the first Rockets alumni to assume the head coaching duties.
