Cristall and Price earn B rankings on Central Scouting’s Preliminary Players to Watch List
Kelowna Rockets forward Andrew Cristall and defenceman Caden Price both earned B rankings on the NHL Central Scouting’s preliminary players to watch list presented by BioSteel released Tuesday.
The list is a compilation of draft-eligible prospects from all the major development leagues throughout North America and Europe. It will be updated throughout the season as scouts evaluate players.
Cristall, 17, currently sits second in team scoring and sixth in league scoring with 15 points (7G, 8A), he leads the team in shots on goal with 41 in ten games.
Price, 17, leads the Rockets defencemen in scoring with eight points (1G, 7A) through ten games.
The players on the preliminary list with A ratings are considered potential first-round picks. Players with B ratings are considered possible second- or third-round choices, and those with C ratings are potential fourth-, fifth- or sixth-round selections.
Price and Cristall will be back in action this weekend when the Rockets visit Portland for games on Friday and Saturday. You can listen to the game on 104.7 The Lizard, stream on rocketfan.ca or watch on CHL TV.
