Myers to stick in NHL
r The Kelowna Rockets are pleased to announce that Tyler Myers will not be returning to junior and will stick with the NHL’s Buffalo Sabres.

r Buffalo Sabres general manager Darcy Regier announced Thursday Myers will remain with the club and will not be returned to junior.

r “We’re very proud and excited for Tyler to move on to the NHL,” said Kelowna Rockets general manager Bruce Hamilton. “As an association we’re happy to have helped Tyler along the way to the NHL.”

r Myers played three full seasons with the Rockets as well as a few games as a 15-year-old.
r
r Last year he led the team to the Memorial Cup putting up 20 points in 22 playoff games to cap off a stellar junior hockey career.
r
r In nine games so far with the Buffalo Sabres Myers has two goals and three assists and is plus eight. He also scored the shootout winner on Wednesday night.
