Rockets sign Caden Price to a WHL Standard Player Agreement
The Kelowna Rockets have signed defenceman Caden Price to a WHL Standard Player Agreement.
The Rockets selected Price in the second round, 30th overall, in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft.
“It’s an honour to sign with the Rockets,” said Price. “It’s been a dream since I was a little kid growing up watching the WHL, to be drafted to such a great organization feels good. I’m excited for the future and can’t wait for what it holds with Kelowna.”
Price, 14, spent last season with the Saskatoon Generals U15 AA (SAAHL U15), recording 55 points (31G, 24A) and 34 penalty minutes in 31 games. He added another five points (2G, 3A) and two penalty minutes in four playoff games.
The Saskatoon product also played three games for the Saskatoon Contacts U18 AAA in the SMAAAHL, posting two penalty minutes.
