Jordin St. Louis signs WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement with Winterhawks
Portland, Ore. – The Portland Winterhawks Hockey Club is proud to announce the signing of forward Jordin St. Louis to a WHL Scholarship & Development Agreement. St. Louis was selected 20th overall by the Winterhawks in last month’s WHL Priority Draft.
“Jordin is an emerging player with an exciting upside. He has a complete game and is adding physical development, and we believe his hockey sense and vision are excellent and will serve him well as a Winterhawk,” said Winterhawks Assistant to the GM and Director of Scouting Mike Coflin. “Jordin is driven to improve and his future is very bright. We are fortunate to be able to add him to our team.”
St. Louis, 15, recently skated for the Edge School U15 Prep program of the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL). He ranked third on the team with 41 points in 27 regular-season games and posted five goals in five postseason contests to lead Edge School to the CSSHL championship game. The Airdrie, Alta. native also helped Edge School win the prestigious John Reid Memorial Tournament with an unblemished 6-0 record in the January 2024 event, scoring ten points in six tournament games.
“We’re really happy to add Jordin to our group. He’s a very intelligent center, two-way player…We just think, in the next two years, there’s huge upside with Jordin.”
