Chiefs Sign Minnesota Product Brandon Reller
Spokane, Wash. — The Spokane Chiefs announced on Tuesday that they have signed 2003-born forward Brandon Reller to a WHL Standard Player Agreement.
“We’re thrilled to have Brandon join our organization,” said Chiefs’ Director of U.S. Scouting George Ross. “He performed very well at training camp and proved to our staff that he is ready to make the next step this season. We’d like to officially welcome Brandon and the Rellers to the Chiefs family.”
Reller, a 6-foot-3, 197-pound forward from Hanover, Minn. was originally listed by the Chiefs in January 2019. Last season with Maple Grove High School, he posted four goals and nine assists for 13 points in 24 games. A 2016 Pee Wee AA and 2018 Bantam AA state champion with Osseo-Maple Grove, Reller competed at USA Hockey’s Select 15 and Select 16 camps in 2018 and 2019, respectively. He picked up two goals and an assist in five games with Team Forest at the Select 16 camp.
“I am honored and excited to be a part of the Spokane Chiefs hockey family,” said Reller. “I am impressed by the culture and strong commitment to excellence, and look forward to continuing that tradition. I have also enjoyed getting to know the players and staff during my visits, and look forward to the upcoming season.”
