Q & A with Kaedan Korczak
After a full season played with the Yorkton Maulers Midget AAA, what did you accomplish on the ice this season?
It went a lot better than I expected this season. As the season went on, I got better and got more comfortable with the team.
Can you tell us about your style of play and the type of on-ice player you are?
I view myself as a two-way player. I recognize when to join the rush and I also know when to stay back and help out in my own end.
Which current NHL player do you feel you have a similar skill set and are trying to emulate?
Duncan Keith. He knows when to join the rush and he knows when to stay back. He always knows when to make the right plays.
What are your thoughts heading up to the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft?
It will be an exciting time. I’m going to enjoy it but then after that, I got to get back to work and try to make the team.
What is your favourite activity or hobby away from hockey?
Golfing. I love to golf.
