Wishart and Tyrell Named to Team WHL
The Canadian Hockey League announced today that Cougar forward Dana Tyrell and defenceman Ty Wishart have been selected to represent Team WHL in the 2007 ADT Canada Russia Challenge.
The ADT Canada Russia Challenge will take place November 19th to 29th, 2007 in Canada as the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) All-Star Teams, from each of its three member Leagues (WHL, OHL and QMJHL), take on the Russian National Junior Team in a six game series.
The two WHL games will be hosted by the Kootenay Ice in Cranbrook, B.C. on Wednesday, November 28th and the Medicine Hat Tigers on Thursday, November 29th. Wishart and Tyrell are slated to suit up in the November 28th game in Cranbrook, B.C.
All six games will be broadcast nationally on Rogers Sportsnet with RDS televising both games from the QMJHL.
