WHL announces updates to the 2021-22 Regular Season schedule

The Western Hockey League (WHL) announced today the 2022 WHL Playoffs will begin Friday, April 22, allowing for an update to the 2021-22 WHL Regular Season schedule, including the rescheduling of previously postponed Regular Season games.
The Prince George Cougars Regular Season was originally scheduled to end on Sunday, April 3rd, but now will conclude on Saturday, April 16th. The up to date 2021-22 Regular Season schedule can be found in its entirety on the Cougars’ website.
The following Regular Season games have been changed:
Tuesday, April 5th vs. Kelowna*
- Originally scheduled for Tuesday, January 11th
Wednesday, April 6th vs. Kelowna*
- Originally scheduled for Wednesday, January 12th
Saturday, April 9th vs. Victoria* **
- Rescheduled from Wednesday, March 2nd
Friday, April 15th at Kamloops
- Originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 8th
Saturday, April 16th at Kelowna
- Originally scheduled for Wednesday, March 9th
* Start times at the CN Centre is 7:00 pm
** Originally scheduled for Saturday, January 8th
Season Member cards will still work for the three rescheduled home games listed above. Those with paper tickets can still use their tickets they have for the originally scheduled home dates listed above.
The 2022 WHL Playoffs will feature the reintroduction of the Conference Playoff format, including three best-of-seven rounds followed by a best-of-seven WHL Championship Series. The 2022 WHL Championship is scheduled from Friday, June 3 through Tuesday, June 14.
Following the 2022 WHL Championship Series, the 2022 Memorial Cup presented by Kia will be contested from Monday, June 20 through Wednesday, June 29 in Saint John, N.B.
