Cougars Return Forsberg and Pilling to Midget
Prince George B.C. – The Prince George Cougars have trimmed their roster by two players after a pair of pre-season games in St. Albert, Alberta over the weekend.
The Cougars 2008 1’st round bantam pick Jesse Forsberg and 2008 4th round bantam pick Shane Pilling have been returned home to begin play with their respective midget programs.
“Both players gained tons of experience here in their first training camp with us and it will be exciting to follow their development over the course of the season. We look forward to having both Jesse and Shane in our line-up.” Commented Cougars General Manager Dallas Thompson.
As underage players, both are eligible to play in 5 regular season games with Prince George this season.
The Cougars roster now stands at 28 players with 18 forwards, 7 defenceman and 3 goaltenders.
