Prince George, BC – The Prince George Cougars have called up a pair of defensemen and a goalie prior to this week-end’s games with the Tri-City Americans, including the team’s first pick in the 2008 bantam draft.

Jesse Forsberg, who went 11^th overall in the bantam draft, and David Greyeyes have joined the Cougars for the next three home games.  Both blueliners have been playing this season with the Beardy’s Blackhawks of the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League.

Forsberg, a 15-year old from Waldheim, SK, is 10^th in league scoring with 6 goals and 25 assists in 26 games, along with 40 penalty minutes this season.  Greyeyes, a 17-year old product of Muskeg Lake, SK, is second in league scoring with 20 goals and 28 assists in 26 games, along with 58 penalty minutes this year for the Blackhawks.  Greyeyes was the SMAAAHL November player of the month.

Also called up was goalie Joel Danyluk, a 13 round bantam draft selection of the Cougars in 2005.  Danyluk has been playing this season his hometown Yorkton Terriers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, posting a 3-4-0-1 record, with a goals against average of 3.05 and a 90.8 save percentage.
