Cougars Help ‘Raise A Reader.’
Wednesday morning in Prince George, several members of the Prince George Cougars sold newspapers as part of the ‘Raise A Reader’ promotion. All proceeds from newspapers sold are going towards literacy awareness.
The Prince George Cougars had players at five different locations throughout Prince George including: Tim Hortons (5th Avenue, Victoria Street, and Massey Drive), Starbucks (15th Avenue) and McDonalds (Near Pine Center Mall).

The Prince George Cougars want to recognize: Children First, The Prince George Citizen, Mayor Shari Green, Pat Bell’s office, the RCMP, The Native Friendship Center, Assante, the Public Library, the Council of Seniors and all other volunteers who helped with ‘Raise A Reader.’
