Cougars Add To Roster
Prince George, BC – The Prince George Cougars have two players joining the team prior to the start of their first round WHL playoff series with the Vancouver Giants Friday.
The Cougars are adding 17-year old Brock Hirsche, the Cougars second pick in the 2007 bantam draft. Hirsche played this past season with his hometown Lethbridge Titans of the Alberta AAA Midget Hockey League where he finished fifth in league scoring with 23 goals and 51 points in 34 games.
Also joining the Cats is 16-year old defenseman Daniel Gibb, who played this past season for the Cariboo Cougars of the BC Major Midget Hockey League. Gibb, a 6’3”, 210 pound blue-liner, had a goal and six assists in 24 games for the Midget AAA Cougars in the 2008-09 campaign, along with 24 penalty minutes.
