Scouting Report
- Prince George is back home and kicking off an eight-game home stand starting tonight. The Cougars are home for the next five weeks and don’t hit the road until March 18th when they make a trip to Victoria. During this home stand, the Cougars play Kelowna (2), Portland (2), Spokane (2), and Victoria (2). The next four games are a big test, as they face the second place Rockets in a weekend doubleheader, before the red-hot Portland Winterhawks, and Taylor Gauthier, come to town next weekend. Prince George has won their last two games against the Rockets, both coming in Kelowna. This is the first home game(s) against Kelowna since mid-November. Another good start tonight is going to be critical for Prince George. The Cougars got out of the gate with a 1-0 lead on Wednesday, courtesy of Cayden Glover and never looked back, as they led 1-0 through 20 minutes and 3-0 after two periods. Playing with the lead is very important for Prince George. 14 of their 19 wins have come when they’ve scored first and they are 14-1-0-0 when leading after two periods.

Scouting Report
- Wednesday was just the Rockets second home ice loss since the Christmas break and second in their last 12 games. Kelowna has been one of the better teams in the WHL since December 28th, posting a 13-3-1-0 record in their last 17 games. The Rockets will be hungry to bounce back from Wednesday’s home defeat and return to the favour tonight in Prince George. Kelowna has won in Prince George twice this season; they’ll be a confident group. The Rockets are still without forwards Jake Poole and Colton Dach. Dach will return from suspension tomorrow. Gabriel Szturc has five points (2g-3a) in his last five games played. Rookie goaltender Jari Kykkanen started Wednesday and has started three of the last five games. New York Rangers draft pick, Talyn Boyko, has been a workhorse in net. The 19-year-old has played the third most games (35) and minutes (2053) in the WHL.
