- The season will kick off with the Cougars hosting the Tri-City Americans on Friday, September 22, marking the start of their 30th anniversary season in Prince George.
- Most weekday games (Monday-Friday) will start at 7 p.m., while Saturday games will begin at 6 p.m. However, there are a few exceptions:
- Sunday, October 22nd vs. Medicine Hat Tigers will start at 5:00 p.m.
- Sunday, February 4th vs. Kamloops will start at 2:00 p.m.
- Monday, February 19th vs. Seattle will start at 3:00 p.m.
- The Cougars will play all BC Division teams eight times, with four games at home and four on the road. They will face all US Division teams four times, with two home games and two away games.
- The Cougars had a successful home record during the 2022-23 season, finishing with 18 wins, 12 losses, 3 overtime losses, and 1 shootout loss at the CN Centre, which was the second-highest number of home wins in the BC Division.
- The team’s longest home stretch in the upcoming season will be five games, taking place from October 3rd to October 11th.
