Spokane Chiefs Partner with Big Table
Through funds raised in the 2022 Miller Lite St. Paddy’s Day Jersey Auction, Miller Lite and the Spokane Chiefs raised $3,000 for Big Table, a local non-profit that cares for the restaurant and hospitality industry.
“The Spokane Chiefs are creating community beyond the rink. Thank you to the Chiefs, their fans, Miller Lite, and the Odom Corporation for raising support to serve hope to those in need in the restaurant and hospitality industry,” Big Table City Director Chris Deitz said. He continued, “The funds raised through the jersey auction help build a net for front line employees, catching them before they fall and providing wholistic care. We are grateful.”
“We’re happy that Miller Lite and the Odom Corporation has introduced us to Big Table and their mission,” Chiefs Vice President Jay Stewart said. “Their focus and work in the community is invaluable and we hope that we can help them achieve their goals.”
The Chiefs wore specially designed St. Paddy’s Day themed jerseys on Saturday, March 12th in a 6-1 win over the Tri-City Americans. Fans were given the chance to win one of the game worn jerseys in a blind auction throughout the course of the game. A portion of the auction proceeds went to Big Table, which focuses on building community and caring for those in the restaurant and hospitality industry that are in crisis, transition, or falling through the cracks.
