Beckman and Finley officially returned from AHL clubs
Spokane, Wash. — Spokane Chiefs forwards Adam Beckman and Jack Finley have both officially been returned to the Chiefs after stints in the AHL.
Under the unique circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, both players were allowed to join their respective AHL clubs as underage players until the beginning of the WHL season. The Chiefs are scheduled to begin their season on March 19 and will begin practicing next week.
Beckman, who was selected in the third round (75th overall) of the 2019 NHL Draft by Minnesota, appeared in seven games with the Iowa Wild, scoring twice and adding an assist for his first three career professional points.
Finley was picked in the second round (57th) of the 2020 draft by reigning Stanley Cup Champion Tampa Bay. He suited up for two games with the Syracuse Crunch in his first taste of the professional game.
