Beaupit Signed to Standard Player Agreement
Spokane, Wash. — The Spokane Chiefs have signed goaltender Mason Beaupit to a WHL Standard Player Agreement. The 2003-born netminder has joined the team in Everett, Wash. on Saturday night for game two of the Chiefs’ preseason schedule.
Beaupit was a fourth round selection (82nd overall) in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft after appearing in 26 games with the Valley West Giants of the BCMML last season, leading the league in appearances.
Beaupit joins three other goaltenders on the preseason roster; Reece Klassen (1999), Lukas Parik (2001) and Campbell Arnold (2002).
Spokane will take on the host Silvertips at 7 p.m. on Saturday night after dropping their first game of the preseason on Friday, 6-5, to Portland.
