2019-20 Promotional Schedule Unveiled
Spokane, Wash. — The Spokane Chiefs officially unveiled their full 2019-20 promotional schedule on Wednesday, including a full lineup of fan-favorite events, contests, giveaways and more. The Chiefs’ home schedule kicks off with Bud Light Opening Night & Pre-Game Party at Spokane Arena on Saturday, September 28 as they host the rival Tri-City Americans.
Ticket packages for the 2019-20 regular season are available now and begin as low as $80. More information is available online, over-the-phone at 509-535-PUCK and in-person at the Chiefs’ Ticket Office at Spokane Arena.
Single game tickets will go on sale Thursday, Sept. 4 at 9 a.m. via the Chiefs’ Ticket Office and online at spokanechiefs.com.

Bud Light Opening Night & Pre-Game Party marks the beginning of the regular season home slate for the Chiefs on September 28. Fans are encouraged to come early for food, drinks and entertainment outside the main gates. Meet the team and get autographs as they “walk the red carpet” at 5 p.m.
The annual Leinenkugel’s HOCKtoberfest & Leavenworth Trip Giveaway promotion returns on October 12 versus Victoria. It’ll be a Bavarian-themed party inside the Arena beginning at 4 p.m. including specialty food carts, drinks and music. One lucky fan will walk away with a trip to Leavenworth, Wash. courtesy of Leinenkugel’s! Contest entry will begin at spokanechiefs.com later this month.
The first of six family feast nights will take place on Saturday, Nov. 2 as the Chiefs battle the Prince George Cougars on Coca-Cola Family Feast Night. Fans can enjoy discounted concessions items at select concession stands all game long, including: $1 popcorn, $1 Coca-Cola products (cans), $1.50 hot dogs, $2 popsicles and $2 licorice ropes.
Get autographs from your favorite Chiefs with the Itron Team Poster Giveaway & Full-Team Post-Game Autographs on Saturday, Nov. 9. Fans are invited to stick around after the game to have their posters signed by the team.
Fred Meyer will hand one fan $1,000 and help raise funds for Second Harvest as part of the Fred Meyer Shop with the Chiefs promotion on Nov. 23 against the new Winnipeg ICE. Then Spokane Arena will close out November with a celebration of 35 years of Spokane Chiefs hockey with the 35th Anniversary Celebration on Friday, Nov. 29 and Avista “Way to Save” & 35th Anniversary Poster Giveaway on the 30th. It will mark one of five nights throughout the season during which Avista Utilities gives away a Spokane Chiefs commemorative poster.
The famous Teddy Bear Toss presented by The Spokesman-Review returns once again on Dec. 7 against Tri-City. Bring a stuffed animal to throw onto the ice after the Chiefs score their first goal. It’s a promotion unlike any other as we hope to break last year’s record of 7,655 toys donated to families in our community, plus Teddy Bear Toss also marks another family feast night at Spokane Arena. Coeur d’Alene Casino Family Feast Night caps 2019 on December 28 to offer fans a great way to close out the calendar year.
The new year means a new wall calendar from Fred Meyer with the Fred Meyer Calendar Giveaway on Jan. 3. Then White Claw Hard Seltzer will send one lucky fan to Las Vegas with the White Claw Viva Las Vegas Trip Giveaway on January 10 versus Vancouver. Spokane Arena turns into the area’s biggest BINGO hall with the Coeur d’Alene Casino BINGO Extravaganza on Jan. 17, then it’s time for another family feast on General Store Family Feast Night & Jersey Rally Towel Giveaway on Saturday, January 18. Fans will receive a jersey rally towel modeled after the special military appreciation jerseys the team will wear on the ice that night.
Numerica Credit Union will provide early fans a Boomer the Bear Piggy Bank on Feb. 1 versus Kelowna, followed by Coca-Cola Family Feast Night and Bobblehead Giveaway on Feb. 8. The first 2,000 fans through the gates and all full season ticket holders (who are guaranteed every promotional item) will receive a Spokane Chiefs bobblehead courtesy of Coca-Cola.
Friday, Feb. 28 will be Shriners Hospitals for Children School Night & Jersey Lunchbag Giveaway, marking the second of two Shriners Hospitals for Children School Nights, offering local students and their families discounted tickets courtesy of Shriners Hospitals for Children – Spokane.
It’s a rare leap year game with Chiefs Fight Cancer presented by Pizza Factory on Saturday, Feb. 29 as the Chiefs will wear special themed jerseys to be auctioned off to benefit Every Woman Can, a cancer support organization focused here in Spokane.
The final family feast night of the season will take place on March 13 with Centennial Hotel Family Feast Night versus Portland. Then, the Chiefs close out their regular season home schedule with Miller Lite St. Paddy’s Day Jersey & Regular Season Finale on March 14 versus Tri-City. The Chiefs will wear St. Patrick’s Day jerseys to be auctioned off to benefit Second Harvest, plus ten fans will have the chance to win a jersey courtesy of Miller Lite.
The Chiefs will offer a variety of themed group nights throughout the regular season, offering fans a ticket & limited edition t-shirt for only $25. This year’s list includes popular returners such as German Heritage Night (Oct. 12) and Gamer Night (Jan. 10) as well as new promotions like Hunters Night on Oct. 4.
