Current Calgary Flames head coach and former Spokane Chi Bill Peters is a former WHL Head Coach with the Spokane Chiefs. A winner of the 2008 Memorial Cup, Peters joins us to discuss his time in the WHL and just how valuable it was when moving on to the next level.
Finally, Former WHL’er Riley Sheen has been named the WHL Graduate of the Month for November. The member of the University of Calgary Dinos is tied for the Canada West scoring lead with 20 points (12G-8A) in 16 games. The veteran of 253 WHL games over five seasons is taking advantage of the WHL Scholarship Program. He was also just named to the U-SPORTS all-star team that will provide the opposition for Canada’s World Junior hopefuls in Victoria. He’ll round out the show.
