Wolves Edge Bulls inching closer to 4th

Johan Mattasson stopped 29 of 30 shots to lead the Sudbury Wolves over the visiting Belleville Bulls 3-1. The Plymouth Whalers played a strong road game jumping out to a 4-0 lead before the Kitchener Rangers could score two late ones to make the final 5-3. The Soo Grey Hounds had a 3-0 before giving up five-straight goals to the Sarnia Sting. The Sting would go on to win the game 5-4. Watch here

In the other highlight pack we have the Jamie Wise and Mika Partanen show in Kingston as they both and three goals and an assist in a 9-0 Majors win over the Frontenacs. In a battle of the top two teams in the East it was Niagara’s Freddie Hamilton that stepped up netting a hat-trick enroute to a 5-1 IceDogs win over the Ottawa 67’s. The Guelph Storm and London Knights faced off for the second time in as many nights. The results were almost identical as the Knights cruised to a 5-1 win. Watch here
