Lirim Amidovski shined with a goal and an assist, earning first-star honours as the North Bay Battalion defeated the Oshawa Generals at Tribute Communities Centre. Reyth Smith and Owen Van Steensel also scored for the Troops, while Mike McIvor stopped 19 shots for the win. Harrison Franssen provided an early highlight for Oshawa, netting his first career OHL goal just 30 seconds into the game. Jacob Oster made an impressive 33 saves in his return from injury for the Generals.
