Team Canada Opens Selection Camp in Toronto
All 40 Team Canada World Junior hopefuls will arrive in Toronto on Saturday prepared to compete for a spot on Canada’s National Junior Team for the 2011 World Junior Championship in Buffalo, NY.
Practice sessions and intersquad games take place on Sunday and Monday at the MasterCard Centre in Toronto.
The 40 players will be divided into Team Red and Team White for the duration of camp.
The Selection Camp Roster includes 12 OHL players including:
Goaltenders:
JP Anderson, Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors (Team White)

Defencemen:
Jesse Blacker, Owen Sound Attack (Team Red)

On Tuesday December 14, 2010, the National Junior Team will compete against the Canadian University National Team as part of the final Selection Camp evaluation before the final roster will be named on Wednesday December 15, 2010.
Team Canada will also compete in a series of exhibition games in Ontario:
Monday December 20, 2010 – Canada vs. Switzerland at General Motors Place in Oshawa, ON
Tuesday December 21, 2010 – Canada vs. Sweden at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, ON
Thursday December 23, 2010 – Canada vs. Finland at Kitchener Memorial Auditorium in Kitchener, ON
