Rangers Honour Scott Stevens

The Kitchener Rangers Hockey Club honoured Scott Stevens prior to the game against the Niagara IceDogs this evening.

Stevens banner joins fellow Rangers alumni Paul Coffey, Larry Robinson and Bill Barber on display permanently in The Aud.

Stevens was a member of the Rangers first Memorial Cup Championship team in 1982.
Selected 5th overall by the Washington Capitals in the 1982 NHL Draft, three time Stanley Cup winner, the first player to have his number retired by the New Jersey Devils and played in 13 NHL All-star Games.

Stevens has played 1,635 games in the NHL, amassing 908 points (196-712).

On November 12, 2007 Stevens was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility.
