OHL Mourns the Loss of Robert Walker

The Ontario Hockey League is deeply saddened by the loss of Robert Walker, the father of Guelph Storm head coach Scott Walker, who passed away suddenly at home on Monday May 26, 2014, at the age of 68 years.

WALKER, Robert (Bob) Anthony – Beloved husband of Lynda Jean (Scott).  Dearly loved father of Kelly Bennett (Chuck), Kerri Walker (Barb Kirkness), and Scott Walker (Julie). Cherished grandfather of Robert, Jake, Scott and Matthew Bennett, Nathan and Kinsey Kirkness- Walker, Cooper and Anna Walker.  Special brother of Cheryl Graham (Jim), Brad Walker (Lois), and brother-in-law Don Scott (Cindy). Predeceased by his parents Robert and Flo Walker and sister Terri Walker. Cremation has taken place.

The family will receive friends at Coutts Funeral Home , 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge on Thursday, May 29, 2014 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. If desired, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
