OHL Cup Results – Day 4
Mississauga Senators 3, Greater Kingston Predators 1
Adam Dipede scored the winning goal with 4:17 left in the third period to help the Mississauga Senators (2-1-0) to a 3-1 win over the Greater Kingston Predators (0-3-0) in OHL Cup action on Saturday.
Jason McDonough and Dale Mitchell also scored for Mississauga.
Jamie Plumb replied for Kingston.

Toronto Marlboros 9, Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs 1
John Tavares scored three goals to pace the Toronto Marlboros (3-0-0) to a 9-1 win over the Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs.
Cory Trevino, Justin Vaive, Sam Gagner, Robyn Sertic, Pat Daley and Eric Rubino also scored for the Marlies, who clinched a spot in Sunday’s semi-finals.
Jacob Welch scored for Elgin-Middlesex.
Hamilton Reps 6, Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs 2
Cody Wilson scored two goals and added an assist to give the Hamilton Reps (2-1-0) a 6-2 win over the Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs (0-3-0).
Jordan Gignac, Justin Coddington, Kevin Rebelo and Drew Schiestel also scored and David Fortino added three assists for the Reps.
Conor O’Donnell and Anthony Ruberto replied for the Jr. Bulldogs.

Markham Islanders 6, Plymouth Compuware 2
Vincent Piccone scored two goals and added an assist to help the Markham Islanders (3-0-0) to a 6-2 win over Plymouth Compuware (1-2-0).
Mike Colwill, Greg Miller, Matt Smyth and Chris Terry also scored for the Islanders, who will face the Toronto Marlies in the semi-finals on Sunday.
Mark Silverman scored 12 seconds into the game and Josh LaPorte added a powerplay marker in the second period.
Thunder Bay Kings 6, Toronto Red Wings 3
Zach Harnden scored two goals, including a short-handed marker, and added an assist to pace the Thunder Bay Kings (2-1-0) to a 6-3 win over the Toronto Red Wings (1-2-0).
Ryan Magill and Kyle Tront also scored shorthanded and Brad Pawlowski and Tyler Ards added powerplay markers. Travis Oleksuk and Dustin Fummerton each had two assists.
Andrew Merrett had a goal and an assist and Louie Caporusso and Stephen Ceccanese also scored for the Red Wings.
Grey-Bruce Highlanders 3, Detroit Belle Tire 2
Brendan Haefling scored two goals, including the go-ahead goal on a powerplay late in the third period to lift the Grey-Bruce Highlanders (1-2-0) to a 3-2 win over Detroit Belle Tire (1-2-0).
Lane MacDermid also scored for Grey-Bruce.
Corey Tropp and Jeremy Christopher scored for Belle Tire.

Clarington Toros 5, Nepean Raiders 3
Robert Kay and Lukas Pither each scored two goals to give the Clarington Toros (3-0-0) a 5-3 win over the Nepean Raiders (0-3-0).
Daniel McCarthy also scored and added two assists and Michael Berney chipped in with a pair of assists for Clarington, who clinched a berth in the semi-finals.
Brett Ashton, Damian Cross and Jason McCarthy scored for Nepean.

London Jr. Knights 1, Brantford 99ers 1
T.J. Anmdrade scored in the final minute of regulation to lift the London Jr. Knights (2-0-1) to a 1-1 tie with the Brantford 99ers (1-1-1).
David Featherston staked Brantford to a one-goal lead midway through the third period with his first goal of the tournament.
