Knights Even Series in Game Two
The London Knights won game two of the Rogers OHL Championship final 4-1 over the visiting Barrie Colts.
After an evenly played scoreless first period the Knights wasted little time getting on the scoreboard in the second. Seth Griffith took a Bo Horvat feed and roofed the first goal of the game over Niederberger just 18 seconds into the second frame. Less than a minute later, once again it was Horvat doing the work. This time beating Zach Hall in a foot race and sweeping the puck under Niederberger from his stomach making it 2-0. The Colts got into penalty trouble in the second and Brett Welychka made them pay scoring his first of the playoffs off a nice pass from Zadorov.
Andreas Athanasiou scored his second goal of the series shorthanded half way through the third. He took a pass from Erik Bradofrd and beat Anthony Stolarz stick side. That was a close as the Colts would get as Griffith capped the game off with his second goal of the contest on the empty net.
Game three of the series goes Monday night in Barrie. Highlights Post Game
