In The Game: Max McCue (London Knights)

After battling his way through a four-man play-in tournament, Max McCue will represent the London Knights in the inaugural Memorial eCup presented by Kia.

The 17-year-old from Sudbury, Ont. is apparently pretty good, and the highly competitive Knights were fully intent on sending nothing but their best. McCue out-duelled defenceman Hunter Skinner and centreman Billy Moskal to earn the right to don the armour for the big tournament, and now he’s set his sights on Canadian Hockey League NHL 21 supremacy.

Fast Fact:
McCue was a second round pick by the Knights in the 2019 OHL Priority Selection and represented Team Canada Black at the 2019 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge. His first career OHL goal came January 19, 2020 against Erie.
