IceDogs’ Knott added to Canada U18 roster

Draft eligible Niagara IceDogs winger Graham Knott has been named to Canada’s roster for the World Under-18 Hockey Championships in Zug and Lucerne, Switzerland.
Hockey Canada made the announcement following Canada’s 4-1 win over Switzerland on Saturday to improve to 2-0 in the tournament.
A 6’3″, 180Ib native of Holland Landing, ON, Knott comes off his sophomore OHL season having collected 43 points (25-18–43) in 59 games. He added two goals and two assists for four points in 11 playoff contests with the IceDogs.
Knott represented Team Cherry in the 2015 BMO CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game in St. Catharines in January and finished the year ranked 57th among North American Skaters in the NHL Central Scouting Service’s Final Draft Rankings.
Internationally, Knott represented Ontario in the 2014 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in Cape Breton, NS. He also won gold representing Canada at the 2014 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament in Breclav, CZE and Piestany, SVK.
Knott is eligible for the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
