Egor Barabanov (C) – Saginaw Spirit (2025-26)
Selected: 4th Round, 100th Overall (2026)
OHL Career Stats: 68 GP, 28G, 63A, 91 PTS., -2
Age: 20
Egor Barabanov emerged as one of the OHL’s premier playmakers, joining forces with linemates Nikita Klepov and Dima Zhilkin in Saginaw to record 91 points (28-63–91) over 68 games. The 2006-born centreman was selected by Calgary after going undrafted in each of the previous two NHL Drafts.
Simon Katolicky (LW/RW) – Sarnia Sting (2026-27)
Selected: 5th Round, 132nd Overall (2026)
2025-26 Career Stats (Tappara U20): 29 GP, 6G, 11A, 17 PTS., +16
Age: 17
The Flames added 6-foot-5 winger Simon Katolický early in the fifth round. The Czech forward spent last season in Finland’s top junior league, recording 17 points (6-11–17) in 29 games with Tappara U20. He was selected 11th overall by the Sarnia Sting in the 2025 CHL Import Draft and is set to make his OHL debut in 2026-27.
Aidan Lane (RW) – Brampton Steelheads (2024-25)
Selected: 6th Round, 176th Overall (2025)
OHL Career Stats: 13 GP, 7G, 6A, 13 PTS, +10
Age: 19
Following his lone OHL season with Brampton, Aidan Lane spent the 2025-26 campaign at Harvard University, where he recorded 13 points (6-7–13) in 34 regular-season games.
Zayne Parekh (D) – Saginaw Spirit (2022-25)
Selected: 1st Round, 9th Overall (2024)

OHL Career Stats: 177 GP, 87G, 153A, 240 PTS, +84
Age: 20
Zayne Parekh spent the majority of the season with the Calgary Flames, recording nine points (4-5–9) in his rookie NHL campaign. He also appeared in four games with the Calgary Wranglers, collecting five points, and represented Team Canada at the 2026 IIHF World Junior Championship, where his 13 points led all defencemen as Canada captured the bronze medal.
Henry Mews (D) – Ottawa 67’s (2022-25), Sudbury Wolves (2024-25)
Selected: 3rd Round, 74th Overall (2024)
OHL Career Stats: 188 GP, 41G, 133A, 174 PTS, +18
Age: 20
Henry Mews was limited to just 10 regular-season games after suffering a season-ending ACL injury. Before being sidelined, he had already recorded nine assists.
Luke Misa (C) – Mississauga/Brampton Steelheads (2021-25)
Selected: 5th Round, 150th Overall (2024)
OHL Career Stats: 259 GP, 77G, 158A, 235 PTS, +69
Age: 20
Following a career-best season with Brampton, Luke Misa moved on to Penn State University, where he registered 19 points (8-11–19) in 37 regular-season games.
Hunter Brzustewicz (D) – Kitchener Rangers (2022-24)

Signed: Mar. 14, 2024
OHL Career Stats: 135 GP, 19G, 130A, 149 PTS, +39
Age: 21
In his second full season with the Flames organization, Hunter Brzustewicz split time between the Calgary Wranglers and Flames, recording a combined 20 points (6-14–20). The Washington, Mich., native is expected to spend the 2026-27 season with the Wranglers.
Artem Grushnikov (D) – Hamilton Bulldogs (2021-23)
Acquired: February 28, 2024
OHL Career Stats: 121 GP, 13G, 16A, 29 PTS, +40
Age: 23
Known for his physical, shutdown style, Artem Grushnikov was originally selected 48th overall by Dallas in the 2021 NHL Draft before joining the Flames organization in 2024. In his second full season with the Wranglers, he recorded two points (1-1–2) in 55 regular-season games.
Brennan Othmann (LW) – Flint Firebirds (2019-23), Peterborough Petes (2022-23)

OHL Career Stats: 177 GP, 96G, 101A, 197 PTS, +26
Age: 23
Acquired by Calgary at the 2026 NHL Trade Deadline, Brennan Othmann spent the remainder of the season with the organization after three years between the New York Rangers and Hartford Wolf Pack. He recorded seven points (1-6–7) in 14 regular-season games with the Wranglers before making his Flames debut, tallying a goal and an assist in two NHL contests.
Rory Kerins (C) – Soo Greyhounds (2018-22)
Selected: 6th Round, 174th Overall (2020)
Signed: Jun. 25, 2026
OHL Career Stats: 188 GP, 82G, 118A, 200 PTS, +25
Age: 24
In his third season with the Calgary Wranglers, Rory Kerins finished third on the club in scoring with 57 points (22-35–57) in 56 regular-season games. He also earned his second NHL call-up, appearing in four games with the Flames.
