Tuesday Highlights: Generals, Attack come out on top
OSHAWA 4, KITCHENER 3 – OT
The Kitchener Rangers rallied back from a 3-1 deficit as Rickard Hugg tied things at three with 42 seconds left in the third period. The visiting Oshawa Generals would claim victory though, getting an overtime marker from Florida Panthers prospect Serron Noel (18, 19) on his second of the night. Danil Antropov (8) and former Ranger Giovanni Vallati (7) joined Noel on the scoresheet while Kyle Keyser made 34 saves. Nick McHugh (7) brought down the Teddy Bears in Kitchener 8:34 into the second period for a league-high total of 10,630 bears collected. Donovan Sebrango (1) also scored for the Rangers, netting his first OHL goal. Oshawa outshot Kitchener 41-37, improving to 19-10-2-0 with their seventh win in the past 10 games. Kitchener falls to 13-15-3-0.

OWEN SOUND 3, GUELPH 2
Nate Schnarr (16) and Liam Hawel (12) gave the Guelph Storm a 2-0 first period lead, but the Owen Sound Attack roared back with three unanswered in a 3-2 home ice victory. Kevin Hancock (26), Sean Durzi (1) and Kaleb Pearson (6) scored for the Bears, with Pearson netting the game winner with 8:20 left in the third period. Andrew MacLean turned in another strong performance for Owen Sound, stopping 44 of the 46 shots he faced as the Attack was outshot 46-39. Anthony Popovich made 36 saves in the loss for Guelph as the Storm dropped their third straight contest, falling to 14-9-3-4. Owen Sound wins a third straight, climbing to within seven points of first place London in the Midwest with a 17-11-1-2 record.
