1ST STAR: MORGAN FROST (SAULT STE. MARIE GREYHOUNDS):
Philadelphia Flyers prospect Morgan Frost recorded a career-high five assists as the Soo Greyhounds took a 7-4 win in Owen Sound. Four of Frosts’s five helpers were primary assists as the centreman helped his club connect for seven goals on 30 shots. A frequent sight on OHL Three Star selections this season, Frost leads the Hounds with 46 points (16-30–46) over 26 games this season. His 30 assists lead the OHL. The 19-year-old from Aurora, Ont. is riding a five-game point streak as the Hounds lead the West Division with a 15-6-4-1 record.

2ND STAR: BEN HAWERCHUK (BARRIE COLTS):
Overage forward Ben Hawerchuk recorded his first OHL hat-trick, helping the Barrie Colts explode for an 8-2 win over the visiting Guelph Storm. The Colts connected for six third period goals, with Hawerchuk opening the floodgates 4:30 into the final frame, giving his club a 3-2 lead. The 20-year-old King City, Ont. native has 18 points (14-4–18) over 20 games in this, his fifth OHL season. The son of Colts head coach Dale Hawerchuk, Ben recently surpassed the 100-point plateau on his OHL career.

3RD STAR: HUNTER JONES (PETERBOROUGH PETES):
2019 NHL Draft prospect Hunter Jones blanked the Erie Otters on Teddy Bear Toss Night at Erie Insurance Arena. Jones stopped all 38 shots he faced while big performances from Liam Kirk and Declan Chisholm gave the Petes the offence they needed to skate off with two points despite being outshot 38-23. Jones’ second shutout of the season sees him improve to 14-10 with a 2.71 goals-against average and .922 save percentage over 24 contests. He was recently included on Team OHL’s roster for the CIBC Canada Russia Series.
