1ST STAR: JOSEPH GARREFFA (KITCHENER RANGERS):
Joseph Garreffa‘s first OHL hat-trick powered an 8-4 Kitchener Rangers victory in Erie. The dimunitive 19-year-old forward scored a pair of second period goals and finished off his hat-trick midway through the third while also adding an assist on a four point night. Best known for his versatility and ability to drop back to the blue line on occasion, Garreffa has 53 points (18-35–53) in 50 games this season and is inching closer to his third straight 60-point campaign. A former third round pick by the Rangers in 2015, Garreffa is a graduate of the Toronto Titans Minor Midget program.

2ND STAR: OWEN ROBINSON (SUDBURY WOLVES):
First-year forward Owen Robinson enjoyed his first multi-goal OHL performance, scoring twice as the Sudbury Wolves defeated the Soo Greyhounds 4-2 on the road. Robinson’s second of the night and sixth goal of the season midway through the second period was highlight reel quality as the 18-year-old from Orangeville, Ont. increased his production to 27 points (6-21–27) through 43 games this season. Drafted this past spring after being passed over twice in the OHL Priority Selection, Robinson was a 10th round choice from the Blind River Beavers Jr. A club where he was an NOJHL Second Team All-Star last season.

3RD STAR: RICKARD HUGG (KITCHENER RANGERS):
Rickard Hugg scored a pair of goals, giving him multi-point outputs in seven of the past nine games as the Kitchener Rangers doubled-up the Erie Otters 8-4 on the road. The 20-year-old native of Hudiksvall, Sweden has 55 points (24-31–55) over 44 games this season and was recently named team captain. Hugg represented Sweden at the IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship this past January.
